Regulations:
The Photo Competition is organized by CITY CODE Publications and there is not any fee to submit photos in the contest. For brevity reasons where CITY CODE Publications is also referred to as “Company”. For reasons of brevity, the “Photo Competition” or “Creative Contest” will be referred to as Competition or Contest. For reasons of brevity where a photographer or artist will be referred to as a participant. For reasons of brevity where photography or Illustration can be referred to as a project.
Every participant in the competition should read the terms of use, regulations and privacy policy of the company. By participating in the contest, he / she should know that he / she accepts the terms and regulations altogether, otherwise participation will be void.
Duration of competition
The duration of the competition is specific and no new entries will be made after the end date.
Age
Only adults are allowed to participate in the competition. If a minor photographer submits a photo, this can only be done with the consent of his guardians.
Terms of Agreement – Authorization
By participating in the Contest you have read and agreed to the terms and regulations governing the Contest. You may at any time change your personal data or remove it from our list by sending us an email at info@citycodemag.gr or yourself via the platform.
E-mail
You already know that your email will be used by the company to inform you both about the the contest or to inform you for any future contest or artnews that included in the CITY CODE platform via mailchimp or wordpress e.t.c
Copyright
Participants in the competition should be the sole holders of the copyrights of the photographs they submit. In the case of ownership of third parties’ intellectual property, the participation will be canceled, but the participant, photographer or artist will be the sole accountant of the real owner of the intellectual property. The photographer will be excluded from each subsequent contest and will not be allowed to participate while authorizing to submit his / her details to the actual owner of the photo.
The persons shown in the photographs must have given their consent (written) to the photographer for their participation in the competition, especially when they are in the foreground. Photos without approval by the person who appears will be excluded from the contest. In any case, the photographer is responsible for his participation in the contest.
By participating in the contest, you authorize the company to use your photographs in any way to promote the contest to the media (social networks, digital platform, google, print communication, etc.) As well as any third party collaborating company for advertising of the competition. Every photo to be played will include the name of the photographer. Participants know that they offer free of charge for the promotion of the contest and will not demand any claim against the company.
You already know that by posting your photos in the contest, some third parties can take your photos and use them for other purposes, in any case they will have done so illegally. They are accountable to you and you can address them for your copyrights. We can not control the immorality of the Internet.
Our basic principle is respect for the artist-creator and we have never made any publication of material without the proper approval, but unfortunately we are a drop in the ocean.
If for any reason we fail to comply with our agreement to display the contest through your projects and we accidentally omit your name, please contact us immediately to correct it.
Work (photos or any other artistic form) that you submit to the contest should not infringe any intellectual property rights, trademarks or other third party or third party trademarks and will not offend the personality of the person appearing.
It is strictly forbidden to write the names of companies you use. We have the right to remove it from the description or title. It is not a competition for a better camera but a contest about photography.
Photo or Illustration Specifications
You can Submit a series of images or different photos or projects as defined by the competition. The maximum dimensions are 1920 the largest side at 72 dpi. The winners will have to immediately and when asked to send the photos or projects they submitted in high resolution.
Announcement of winning Images
Winning photos with their announcement, photographers or artists should send their projects in high resolution. They will be sent an email to the email they have submitted and they will have to reply within a reasonable time if we do not receive any response their award will be canceled. They may also be sent a photo assignment form where they will sign in order to certify that they are the only owners of the copyrights of the works.
Restrictions on participation in the competition
Images with people in front will not be accepted without their written permission. We can send you the form in order to be signed by the models. For ethical reasons Company will not accept image with people in need especially when there are prizes. Artworks that depict vulnerable social groups that can be identified with their disclosure and cause them a problem will not be accepted.
Projects that promote violent, fascist or symbolic representations will not be accepted.
Entries to the competition are prohibited with photos taken from a photo bank that you either bought or downloaded illegally. We will immediately notify the photo bank to obtain their legal means.
It’s forbidden print screens of you photo, only original photos will be submitted in the contest. Company prefers images without digimarks or any other signature on them but we understand the fact of the internet’s indecision but at least to be discreet.
Each entry passes a first evaluation process if its meets the requirements so it may take at least 12 hours before show in the platform. At the end of the two days if you don’t see your photo, this means that our company has not been approved for the reasons outlined above.
If for any reason you have forgotten to write your full name then you will be sent an email to correct it if you do not answer will not be accepted.
Juries
Each contest will have its own jury. The winning projects will be selected by the jury and the audience award from visitors / users.
Awards
Each contest has its own awards, so you should be informed by the relevant page of the contest.
Contest Cancellation – Other Terms
The contest may be cancelled at any time or change its terms and conditions and you are required to be informed of them at regular intervals. The competition may be extended, submissions and voting.
Sensitive data
When uploading photos for the CITY CODE CONTESTS we may receive sensitive data from you in the form of a person’s picture. You are solely responsible for the content you share with us. At anytime we may cancel your submission or not accept it in the contest. For example, pictures revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or concerning health or concerning someone’s sex life or sexual orientation may qualify as special personal data.
Other terms of the contest
The terms and conditions of the competition may change and appear here so that you can access your information at any time. You are responsible for updating the terms and conditions upgrades.
The CITY CODE PUBLICATIONS not responsible for incomplete, inaccurate information from website users or any software or media associated with the competition. The company assumes no liability for technical errors, omissions or losses, theft of photos from third parties or any illegal interference that may occur in relation to the competition. It does not take any responsibility for viruses from downloading files or photos you can make in any case you are the sole responsible.
CITY CODE PUBLICATIONS assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss. It does not provide any warranty, express or implied, for any matter arising as well as any financial conciliation.
By participating in the contest means that you have read the terms and conditions governing it, the privacy policy and terms of use and agree with them.

You will look into Spam if you do not find an email then you can send us to our email info@citycodemag.gr and we will send you your Password.
I submitted my photos but do not appear on the platform of the contest.
Each entry is through an approval process, so you’ll wait up to 12 hours to see Online. If this period passes again then it will not be accepted because it does not meet the terms and regulations of the contest or violates personal data, or exposes sensitive personal data, or your details are incomplete.
I sent you my photo via email
Entries you send us via email will not be accepted as it is necessary for your participation to be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the competition.
I did not receive a confirmation email that my entries were approved.

I submitted photo with my signature on them. Will my participation be approved?
We absolutely understand that there is no copyright safety in the internet so prefer a tiny signature. If not its ok too..
My photos were not approved, actually were not my original photos but print screens of them…
Print Screens not allowed. Selfies not allowed. Submissions via email not allowed.
I have submitted photos in analysis requested to participate in the contest but I do not have the original file in high resolution. Will my participation be valid?
Your participation will be valid but if you win one of the competition awards you will be excluded because it is mandatory send us after the announcement and of course if you are the winner the photos in High Resolution printable and with the exif information.
